This toy was originally part of the 'Fairground' set, but we only got the carousel. Nevertheless, we're very happy with it :)
What's interesting about it: Even without batteries, the carousel spins when you press a button on the side panel (you could say it's the entrance to the carousel). You can hear a slight squeak, indicating that the toy is not new and has already lived through many stories, at least with one little owner!
Batteries add music, which starts playing when you press the same button. The music doesn't last long - less than 10 seconds. And, surprise, with the next press, the music changes :)
There are a total of 4 melodies.
On top of the horses, there are compartments for toys - we haven't got them yet, but we're still playing without them and continuing to search 🧐🧐
A child of 2.5 years old can definitely play with this carousel and press the button, but for children younger than 1-1.5 years, I'm not sure, as it's a bit stiff and may not be suitable for tiny fingers.
By the way, our son also likes to spin the carousel manually by pushing the horses without pressing the button. This method is suitable even for the youngest owners.
Dimensions:
Height: 23 cm
The base of the carousel is a circle with a diameter of 16 cm + two small platforms (entrance and exit from the carousel) measuring 3 cm each.
New batteries are included, because I don't like running around and searching for them in stores and markets to see all the toy's features.
A little personal note - I really like the colors of Early Learning Centre (ELC) sets, as well as the small drops of paint on the figures and buildings. It gives a sense of something handmade and time-tested.
