Wooden Latches Board

This is a classic busy board from Melissa & Doug.

And now, in more detail: I got acquainted with the Melissa & Doug brand just a week ago when I saw this board. Honestly, I got engrossed on their website for several hours, and now I understand why this company claims to be the "#1 Preschool Brand For Wooden Toys" I watched interviews with Melissa and Doug and could see how passionate they are about games and their creation.

You can immediately tell that this busy board is sturdy and will withstand even the excited state of toddlers and children up to 6 years old. There might be some wear on the metal and paper, but that's normal (by the way, there's already some wear:)

On this board, there are 6 different latches and locks that open 6 windows with various animals. Our 2.8-year-old son didn't let go of this busy board for several days and kept clicking away. For a child whose parents own a toy store, even one day with a toy among the variety of everything that's at home is quite an accomplishment. That's why I'm sure this thing will "hook" a child from the age of 2 and might become a favorite. It's hard to determine the upper age limit. Sometimes, I myself sit and relax with it for 5-10 minutes, clicking and opening/closing the windows.
