When we found this radio, it became clear how much we missed it before.
When our son was a baby. When he was just starting to touch and twist things. When you could pull on the antenna (and his grandparents handmade a busy board for him).
I can't say he doesn't play with it now. He plays with it so much that sometimes I'm afraid he'll break it. I just want toys like these to have a continued story, becoming something a child grows up with from early childhood and then shares with their own children.
Continuing with the official information:
Original 1971 Fisher Price wind-up toy music box.
This is an all-plastic music box with a toy clock on one side. The clock has 2 movable arms with an hour hand that moves to the next hour when the child turns the minute hand completely around the clock. This is one of the few toy clocks with an hour hand that moves correctly like a real clock, enabling children to get a realistic idea of how to tell time.
It plays Hickory Dickory Dock. Musical movement made in Japan.
